As Anatolianart Art Centre, Greek-Roman and Byzantine art is our main interest. The most important structures in Greek architecture are temples. Temples are considered to be the house of god. In sculpture, the works are examined in three periods as Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic periods. The foundation of Roman art lies in architecture. It’s the embodiment of an architectural power show. Romans, choosing masonry, vault and cupola created the foundation in the construction of heavy load-bearing walls instead of wooden roof covering. For this reason, columns have been used for more ornamental reasons.
As Anatolianart Art Centre, we collaborated historical buildings and sculptures with everyday items, following a path that is unprecedented and unusual. You can see sculptures, decorative Greek-Roman columns, reliefs and motifs of the period in our works such as desk, floor lamp, garden lightening and bathtub. We created a concept that is very attractive and unique of our own using famous sculptures of the period in the living room and garden type lamps. In our works, faithful to the original works of Greek-Roman and Byzantine period, we manufactured bronze and polyurethane casting using completely classical methods. Also, many of our products are hand-painted.
